Well, I certainly was not prepared to find what I found this morning, June 23, 2008.  I was clearing out some of my junk boxes ( I am sure that most everyone has those), when I ran across some pictures of Alex and some things that he had done in school.  So, of course, I started to get a little sad and really missing him.  So, I cleaned things up and fixed me some breakfast and was watching the 700 Club.  As I was sitting there watching I was thinking and I asked God this question, "Can't you let me talk to him?  Why did I wait to get myself right with You.  God, can't You at least tell him how my faith is now?  He would be so happy and proud.  Why didn't I do these things when he was alive?  He would have enjoyed it so much."

Then I went to my laptop and pulled up the 700 Club.  I wanted to share my story.  As I was sitting there, I thought of something that I could put in my book, so I went to my closet and got out a notebook to write in.  When I opened the notebook, on the first page was something that Alex had written and this is what I read.......... .......... .....

Are you prepared?  By Alex

Are you prepared to leave this world?

Are you prepared for Jesus to save souls?

Are you prepared to see the Pearly Gates?

If you are come with us.

If you are not you better pray?

Are you prepared to see the saints go marching in?

YES!!

Alex is still witnessing to people.  He has such a strong point.  I thank God everyday that Alex was prepared.  Please, please, examine yourself.......... ......have you ever asked Jesus to come into your heart.  If you have, are you living the way Christ wants you to live?  How do others see you?  If Jesus came and wanted to visit your home, do you have things there that you would be embarrassed for Him to see?  Guess what, he has already seen them.  I plan on cleaning my home.  If you have never asked Jesus to come into your heart, it isn't too late.  Why Wait?  Do it now.  I will ask you as Alex has asked in this poem.......... ....Are you prepared?  If you think that you have plenty of time, think again.  You may or you may not.  Read how Alex died.  An unsick child, very healthy and we lived life to the fullest, started hurting really bad in his chest about 4:20pm and died within 10 - 15 minutes.  Although they pronounced him dead a little after 5:00pm, we know that he died at home.  We love you and want to see you in Heaven when Jesus comes and takes us home.  Send us an email and we will pray with you.  Whatever is going on in your life, you CAN still be prepared for Jesus.
